Our client is a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector, committed to driving sustainable solutions for a greener future. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Solar Business Development Manager to join the business.

The successful BDM Manager will be tasked with focusing on generating new business and selling the organisations product offering direct to industry.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to shape the future of renewable energy while driving growth for a forward-thinking company.

THE ROLE

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial opportunities within the renewable energy market.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector
  • You will develop relationships with key stakeholders, generate leads, and drive revenue growth through innovative energy solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of market trends and emerging technologies in solar, wind, and energy storage
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

THE PERSON

  • Strong understanding of solar, wind, battery storage, or other renewable technologies
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or a similar role within the renewable energy industry
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate complex energy solutions in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
